Douglas King Insurance Services Ltd formally known as Douglas King and Company Ltd was established in 1955 by Douglas King. Richard Dear took over the company in 1992 and eventually changed the company name to it's present name; Douglas King Insurance Services Ltd in 1998.

Richard Dear has a career in insurance that spans over 40 years. His expertise shows in the capability of our workforce who are able to give clients, old or new, a professional, personal and friendly service, tailored to their individual needs. Being in the insurance industry for so many years means that Richard has made customer care and policy management a priority and his staff have been trained to the highest standards.
